Whatever your vocation or aspiration, you can increase your impact on others
by becoming a person of influence. Learn simple, insightful ways to
interact more positively with others, and watch your personal and
organizational success go off the charts. I purchased and read this book a couple of years ago, only a few days before interviewing for a promotion at work. It caught my attention from the beginning and I couldn't put it down. During the interviewing process I answered many of the questions from info. that I had read out of (Becoming a Person of Influence.) I feel it was a major part of my getting the promotion. There were two others being interviewed that already had titles above mine and later ended up working for me. I have since purchased a number of copies of this book. I give one out to every new employee I hire, in which I'm putting in a supervisory role. It is an inspirational book along with educational. I would recommend it to anyone in a leadership role, work or otherwise. It is also a good resource to go back & review now and then. It helps you stay on track as a supervisor or manager in business. |

organizations across the country. The key to Getting Things Done?
Relaxation. |

With over 30 million copies sold since its original publication in 1960,
Psycho-Cybernetics has been used by athletes, entrepreneurs, college
students, and many others, to achieve life-changing goals--from losing
weight to dramatically increasing their income--finding that success is not
only possible but remarkably simple.
Now updated to include present-day anecdotes and current personalities, The New Psycho-Cybernetics remains true to Dr. Maltz’s promise: "If you can remember, worry, or tie your shoe, you can succeed with Psycho-Cybernetics!” Unlike many other New Age type books which talks about self-elevating,
self-magnificating, self-actualising, self-meditative and all that crap,
this book gives some good solid ground rules on creating a strong positive
mindset that will help one better oneself with practice. |

Intelligent Memory In this groundbreaking and important book, Dr.
Barry Gordon, one of the world's leading authorities on memory, and Lisa
Berger offer a bold new synthesis of the two essential components of the
human mind: intelligence and memory. Gordon and Berger argue that "intelligent
memory" is the key to our ability to solve problems, learn from
experience, associate, and innovate. As critical to the creation of works of
genius as it is to navigating the complexities of daily life, intelligent
memory is not an innate gift but a skill that we can learn, hone, and
actually improve with age-no matter how old or absentminded we might be. |
